Caution: Read only if you're in the mood for a good cry

I came across this tender photo journal titled Days With My Father by Philip Toledano. The pictures and story are so touching. Reading this made me 1.grateful that my parents are still relatively young and healthy even though they live far away (I miss them so much these days!) 2.grateful I am not an only child cause that would be really lonely and 3.grateful for my knowledge of eternal families.

That was so beautiful and so touching and you were right I cried my eyes out and I'm sure for the same reasons you did. Thank you for sharing.

I'm also grateful I'm not an only child, I'm just not that strong

I also wanted to say that I am thankful for the ability to smell. I realize that smell can be used as a positive or a negative but for me the ability to smell and to smell wonderful things is great. I loved when he wrote about how he'd open his mom's closet and he'd "inhale deeply, each breath, a memory........the vague aroma of hairspray....". Beautiful
