A favorite book of ours comes to life on the big screen this weekend (which I hear should be reserved for age 8 and up). We have read and reread this book so many times over the years we are now on our third copy. It ranks right up there with There's A Nightmare In My Closet. My boys love the part where Max becomes ruler of all wild things. I love the part where he decides to sail home to the place "where someone loved him best of all." At the end of the day, isn't that what it's all about.

I am so excited about this movie. I read that book so many times as a child. It was one of my favorites. I have never had it for my kids, though. I am going to have to get it.
